"Despite being an extremely dark and twisted story of horrific violence and tragedy, The Dark Path is also a story of hope and redemption. Vain’s struggles within himself and with the outside world affected me greatly. You really do come to like this incarnation of evil and want him to win, for all our sakes. With the addition of Sebastian, Vain’s complete and total opposite, they make a duo of epic proportions. A very profound work of fiction that will make you think. One of the very best horror stories I’ve read in a long time."

"At first glance, Vain is just an ordinary hit man who is very cruel man. However, the more you read; Luke Romyn lets readers into what makes man into this killing machine with no emotions. This page-turner novel just gets me more and more addicted. The storyline is so unique that readers will not find anything remotely similar. This goes beyond one man's struggle to the road of redemption. We get to see behind scenes of more than the character of Vain. Dark Path just got under my skin. As hard as tried to stop reading Dark Path, I became like a woman obsessed until I finished the book."

"Luke Romyn has descriptively brought to life the most gruesomely evil-incarnate harbingers of Hell while also bringing forth the most Divine visions of Heavenly entities in this imaginative and gripping story of a man turned evil by hatred and then redeemed by caring. Mr. Romyn's sprawling vistas of unholy places and unnatural beings will make you glad you live in the normal world and may make you a little afraid to turn out the lights. This story is wonderfully written and excitingly powerful from beginning to end. I absolutely enjoyed this book and will be anxious to pick up another Luke Romyn masterpiece in the very near future."

"The Dark Path is not a book I would have chosen if I was perusing the shelves at my local eBook store.  Finding myself drawn to the more romantic genre's of today I don't venture into other areas as much as I should.  After reading blurbs of The Dark Path I found myself intrigued, wanting to read more.  So, I gave into my curiosity and bought it.  I am incredibly thankful that I did.
"The Dark Path takes you on the journey of a man, Vain who is forced into protecting young Sebastian.  Fighting against a group known as the Souls of Sordarrah he finds himself pitted against an evil unlike any he's ever known.  Vain's struggle to keep Sebastian safe and from harm will keep you on the edge of your seat and turning the page in a relentless quest to find out more.  I have to thank the author, Luke Romyn for opening my eyes to a new genre and making me thankful for giving into my curiosity."

"I would definitely recommend The Dark Path to readers who enjoy dark fiction with protagonists that don’t easily fit into the categories of good and evil. This book definitely has something to offer for a reader looking for a supernatural fiction story combining gunplay action with horrific religious-themed fantasy."
